We are seeking:

REGISTERED DIETITIAN

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Administrator, the Registered Dietitian assumes the authority and responsibility of the nutritional care for residents in the Long-Term care facility and takes on the role to monitor, oversee day-to-day clinical nutrition of residents and monitoring a high level of nutrition care and well-being of residents. The Registered Dietitian ensures that the nutrition and hydration programs comply with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act 2021, amongst others.

Qualifications:
• Must be registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
• Three (3) years previous professional experience in Long-Term Care is an asset
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with an interest in gerontology
• Must be bilingual

Compensation:
The salary range is $74,585 to $86,849 and we offer an excellent benefit program.

En tant que membre de l’équipe des services de soutien communautaire d’Au Château, l’intervenante en soins de répit offrira de l’aide et soutien aux locataires des quatre immeubles gérés par Au Château. La personne sera responsable des soins personnels, de la préparation de repas, de tâches ménagères et de la lessive dans les appartements des locataires. Elle devra aussi soumettre des rapports de service à la coordonnatrice du programme. Ce travail conviendra à une personne qui préfère un horaire de travail restreint.

Compétences requises :

  • diplôme de Préposé aux services de soutien personnel (PSW) ;
  • capacité à transiger avec les personnes aînées et/ou handicapées ;
  • expérience à travailler sans supervision constante ;
  • bilinguisme obligatoire, français et anglais parlés et écrits.

PART TIME – ACCOUNTING CLERK

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accounting Clerk will support the CFO in various accounting functions of the Home.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Business Administration – Accounting Diploma
  • Three (3) years of progressive experience in accounting/finance
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft environment
  • Experience working in a health care environment or not-for-profit sector would be considered an asset
  • Oral and written skills in French and English

Our compensation package is competitive and will commensurate with experience.

REGISTERED NURSES

As members of the Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA), you will form part of a dedicated nursing team to provide care to the 160 residents of the Home.

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse certificate of competence from the Ontario College of Nurses.

Experience in geriatrics or long term care

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff and families

Genuine interest and understanding of the needs of the elderly and individuals who require long term care

Working knowledge of computers

Management/Supervisory skills as the RN is responsible for the supervision of the Home’s staff on evenings, night and weekends

Bilingualism is an asset

Qualifications:

Current licence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Qualified and experienced in the administration of medication

Qualified and experienced in the Catheterisation procedures is an asset

Knowledge of computers an asset

Experience working in long term care preferable

Must be able to work as a team member with other health professionals and support workers.
